Revd Dr Peter Rouch has been appointed as the new Archdeacon of Bournemouth, which although good news for him is sad news for the Miles Platting and Newton Heath area as it is losing someone who has worked incredibly hard for the local community.
He is pictured above (in black) at an event Tony Lloyd attended at St Cuthbert’s church on Sunday 15 May.

Many British merchant seamen gave their lives to supply the Soviet Union during the war. On May 8th Russians and survivors of the Arctic Convoy remembered their heroism at Manchester’s Cenotaph.
